About

✨ The Story Behind The AIM Collective

I have spent my career building communities that bring people together in meaningful ways. But when I began leading marketing strategies for AI-powered products, I realized I did not have a community that addressed my specific challenges.

Existing marketing communities often focused on tactical uses of AI tools, but few addressed the strategic challenges marketing leaders face—how to position complex AI capabilities in meaningful ways, navigate customer hesitancy, and transform internal teams. In conversations with my peers, I discovered we shared common struggles: crafting compelling stories around technical capabilities, measuring AI's true impact, and guiding organizations through significant change.

While webinars and networking events provide valuable insights and initial connections, I found myself seeking something deeper—a space for ongoing, meaningful conversations with peers who faced similar strategic challenges and understood the complexities of marketing AI in established markets.

That's when it became clear: community is not just about gathering people—it is about creating the right environment for meaningful connection among those with shared challenges. The most valuable communities are intentional, deeply connected, and built to solve real problems.

I created The AIM Collective to be that space—a trusted network where marketing leaders driving AI innovation can connect, collaborate, and shape what's next without having to navigate the noise of general marketing communities.

✨ Leadership & Vision

Hi there, I'm Bree Bunzel, founder of The AIM Collective 👋🏻 I bring 15+ years of experience building global communities and marketing AI-powered products at established organizations including Dropbox and Intuit QuickBooks. My background bridges innovation with practical market implementation, giving me insight into both AI's possibilities and the real challenges of bringing these capabilities to customers.

As my career evolved into leading AI marketing initiatives, I found myself seeking deeper connections with peers navigating similar transformation challenges. The conversations I needed—about positioning complex AI capabilities effectively and managing organizational change—weren't happening in broader marketing groups, which inspired me to create the community I wished existed.

Through conversations with peers across the AI marketing landscape, I discovered many leaders shared three core needs: meaningful connection with others driving AI transformation, strategic insights to future-proof their careers, and access to AI-native marketing leaders who could share valuable perspectives.

Having built strong relationships in both San Francisco/Silicon Valley and Sydney/APAC, I've created a community where marketing leaders driving AI transformation can connect, share what's working, and collectively stay ahead of industry shifts. The AIM Collective prioritizes peer relationships first, with the added benefit of strategic foresight and curated access to AI-native marketing leaders through our speaker series.

In an industry increasingly dominated by digital interactions, we intentionally create human touch points as a necessary counterbalance. This isn't just another professional network – it's a "third space" where strategic growth and genuine enjoyment coexist, where leaders can be authentic, vulnerable, and collaborative in ways that drive true innovation.
